My Favorite Hobby

When I first moved to the beach back when I was 13, I did anything I could to constantly be on the water. I immediately picked up paddle boarding as a fun hobby. I have used YOLO Boards since I first picked up paddle boarding. I have many memories of days spent on the second sandbar diving off my board to find sand-dollars and piling on as many friends that could fit on a single board to see who could stay on the longest. From funny memories like these, to memories of paddling on the many dune lakes on 30a, YOLO Board has given me a strong appreciation for paddle boarding and enhanced my love for the water.

Recently I have had the privilege of joining the YOLO Board team. Through this opportunity, I have found a new love for their newest type of boards, the Inflatable Series. I love these boards because they fit in a backpack and are lightweight to carry either on your back or after pumping them up. I love the ease of being able to easily transport my boards anywhere since I am always on the go. When I am at home I use my boards daily, whether it is hoping on Western Lake and paddling with my brother, or a quick paddle on the ocean.

Having these boards has given me such freedom to paddle anywhere. I love paddle boarding for leisure and also for a workout. I can tell a huge difference in how toned I am after spending just a week paddling frequently. It is the best way to get a workout in while getting a tan and enjoying the many beautiful scenes of 30a.
